The truth is that most people start writing for emotional release,
Not to showcase any real or imagined talent and art.
Then you continue writing coz, strangely, sharing what you feel, however flawed it makes you look, It starts to become cathartic,
Something you didn’t expect to feel at the start.

Then you find readers of your writing.
The number doesn’t matter.
I believe that if what you’ve written speaks to someone, it’s only because your words are being read by a similar feeling heart.
And then, if you keep at it for long enough,
It’s a habit for life.
It is now of you, an inseparable part.

Very true. Poetry am writing veey similar to what you said. Draft below
Blending emotions in ink,
I often warm up the nib with scibbles,
Till heart is ready to let go,
Once the flow is fluent,
Pen and nerves become congruent,
And words fall on the paper
Confessions, concussions, everything.
