I’ve always loved finding the meaning of new words. Some Japanese words, like this one, are so deep and meaningful. One word. SO much meaning. Kintsugi is a word that inspired this piece of poetry. It is about brokenness and how it doesn’t have to mean the end of anything. I hope you like reading it.

Become Love
Be the love you would want for yourself.
The Waiting
It’s the mindset you choose to be in, while you wait, that makes all the difference to the quality of your life during that period of waiting.
Minding The Self
Should I give in to how I feel,
Or quit while I’m ahead?
Distance
“I feel you struggling from afar,
Trying to push what you know is good for you.”
Afraid To Fall
When I was sitting in quarantine and needed to write, I dug into some sweet memories and found that inspiration wasn’t be far behind. Here’s a little poem about the feeling of the initial rushes and fears of falling in love.
Purpose
When you feel your Purpose is starting to look out of reach, it really isn’t. You’re just looking at it all wrong. Hopefully this little poem will show it to you.
Love for Almond Roca
Running out of inspiration to write,as I sat there eating one Almond Roca after another, my daughter said- “Just write about what you’ve been eating for half an hour.” Lol. So I wrote a poem for my current fave snack…and I put my heart into it. I hope you like it – the chocolate, I mean. Seriously, it’s yummmmm!
Propellers
‘Propellers’ is a term I use for people and situations that have taught me valuable lessons. Without these propellers, we would have been stuck. They shake things up and help us be unstuck.
Queen Of Cups
A tiny poetry about what love means to me.
