This live performance, by absolute legends in Music, is classic and unique, in that, it engulfs you in its melancholy, making you feel slightly downhearted by the despair it expresses… BUT at the same time you feel somehow strangely healed by the wistful expression of it all. By the end of it, you’re almost ecstatic that by just watching them perform, you have shared in a little of what they were feeling on stage.
I believe that if what you’ve written speaks to someone, it’s only because your words are being read by a similar feeling heart.
Ever been in love? Ever got that same magical feeling from music?
It’s like rain on a faintly sunny day, And petrichor.
It’s like a cool breeze on your face,
As you smile, close your eyes and open your arms, to really feel it.
(Also, check out the song I’ve added to this blog post. It’s all things love.)
“My favourite part of the story is in ‘Chapter The Ninth – Big Fight’. This is my favourite part because here Li’l Petey helps Flippy the Fish to become good. You see, Flippy is evil and he uses his powers to make buildings take revenge for his sad childhood. By showing kindness, Li’l Petey helped Flippy change from being evil to being kind.” – Evanya N Prakashan (Age-6 yrs).
On my travels, I love to capture on camera the things I see – something odd, something unique, something funny, something beautiful. Because these little things add to the stories about our trip. Stories that are fun to tell and fun to look back at. Everyone visits the same places, but it’s these little moments that make our experience there unique and memorable. Here are some photographs capturing our experiences on our visit to Nepal a few years back.
I write this in the hope that there comes a day when a mother isn’t poorly judging another mother based on her different choices. As long as those choices aren’t harming anyone, we should make a promise to ourselves that we encourage another woman’s courage to be herself.
