Think Away To Glory

For peace does not mean lack of thoughts,
It’s the ability to differentiate,
What thoughts need acting upon,
And what need to be left to fate.

But What About Me?

When you give too much, and don’t leave space to receive, you’re not being loving to the one person who should matter the most to you- YOURSELF!

Back To Basics

When you realize that any outward work is useless, unless it also leads to inner work. And outward kindness and compassion starts with first being that way towards yourself.

Kintsugi

I’ve always loved finding the meaning of new words. Some Japanese words, like this one, are so deep and meaningful. One word. SO much meaning. Kintsugi is a word that inspired this piece of poetry. It is about brokenness and how it doesn’t have to mean the end of anything. I hope you like reading it.

Purpose

When you feel your Purpose is starting to look out of reach, it really isn’t. You’re just looking at it all wrong. Hopefully this little poem will show it to you.

Self-Love Is Self-Care

The opportunity to write for a popular online community of mothers, made me think of the things I do that help me practise Self-Love. I came up with a list. But I’m gonna explain each point with the help of THE TOP THING I surround myself with to feel good – MUSIC. If you get nothing else from this piece, you will, at the very least, have listened to a cool and unique song by the end of it.

Finding Love In Music

Ever been in love? Ever got that same magical feeling from music?
It’s like rain on a faintly sunny day, And petrichor.
It’s like a cool breeze on your face,
As you smile, close your eyes and open your arms, to really feel it.
(Also, check out the song I’ve added to this blog post. It’s all things love.)
